Association Skills Checklist Initiative
So you have managed to fill out yet again a skills checklist full of incomprehensible and down right dumb items and ranking systems. So what? Well, if you can't figure out what they mean, how do you think that looks to the interviewing manager who must now double and triple guess what you meant by your answer? And what fun do you think a lawyer might have with a skills checklist at a deposition? Probably a lot, but you won't be having fun!
For medicolegal defensive reasons, as well as enhancing the professional image of travelers (and agencies), the ability to market ourselves, and to help be good fit with the needs of particular hospital and ourselves, the Association is creating a comprehensive suite of skills checklists for all travel healthcare professionals. But we need your expertise in your specialty to do that. Can you spare an hour or two looking at your specialty skillsheets? It will enhance the image of the entire industry.
