THE ASSOCIATION IS NOW ACCEPTING MEMBERS!   Substantial content and resources are currently available for all levels of membership and legal services for our full members are available now!

If you are thinking about becoming a traveler, or are an experienced traveler wanting to learn more or support our mission, we urge you to consider membership in the Association.  Some of our many services include:


  • Professional insights from experienced travelers, i.e. “Tricks of the Trade”.

  • Many in depth articles and resources about issues specific to travelers.

  • Health insurance, negotiation, housing, taxes, professional portfolio are among the many in depth articles.

  • Content suitable for both new and experienced travelers.

  • PBDS  information and test taking tips (best available anywhere!)

  • A powerful “real pay” Traveler's Calculator.

  • Legal advice and services from our own contract employment lawyer, included free with Full membership.

  • Tax tips and advice from our in house tax professional.

  • The Association is your voice to advocate for positive changes.

  • Unbiased education about choosing an agency or an assignment.


The Login/Register link in the top menu above is your path to membership.  From there, you can choose between complementary Basic membership with access to many features including our incomparable Traveler's Calculator. This is a good way to learn more about us and our services.

Full membership may be chosen immediately or upgraded later. Full membership gives full access to all of the Association's content, services, and resources at a cost of just $65 for a full year's membership. However, should you choose to lend additional support to the Association's mission, Sponsoring membership is available for $120. Lifetime membership is also available for $285.

The Association is 501(c)(6) non-profit organization allowed to lobby for our member's interests.

Upgrading your membership can be done at anytime from the My Account/Upgrade link above. 


Problem solving membership issues 

Registering with the Association does require a valid email address. Please be sure to enter your address accurately. After registering, you should receive an email from us within seconds. This email has a link to activate your membership so that you can log in. If you do not receive this email, please check your bulk mail or spam folder. Don't see it? Go to the Login/Register link in the top menu. There you will see a link to have a new email sent to you. That resolves the vast majority of registration issues.
